Boris Starling's first novel, MESSIAH, was made into a hugely successful television series by the BBC, which he co-wrote. He is currently adapting Ruth Rendell's ADAM AND EVE AND PINCH ME for Parallel/ITV and developing an original supernatural detective series, THE MOORS, for Carnival. He is also developing original series for MRC/Parallel and producer Piers Tempest. Boris recently storylined Charlie Brookers' spoof detective show A TOUCH OF CLOTH, and has adapted David and James Livingston's autobiography BLOOD OVER WATER as a feature for Joel Mischon and Harbour Films. Boris has worked as a reporter on The Sun and The Daily Telegraph, and most recently, for a company which specialises in kidnap negotiation, confidential investigations and political risk analysis.
